Location is about all this place has going for it. I stayed in a single room (25 specifically) and it was honestly like being punished for being alone. Room was so cramped, run down, old. Loud talking and banging in the night. Seagulls left no room for sleep or even watching telly while you're getting ready to go out. I have attached the view of my "inner courtyard view." Disgusting. Breakfast room dark and dingy.. .makes you want to eat quick and leave quick. Due to circumstances I am actually thankful to say I only had to endure one out of the three nights I had booked. Won't be returning to Newquay and if I did it certainly wouldn't be in this establishment.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.breakfast was very limited, no bacon, no boiled eggs. The toasters where faulty took ages to toast. The rooms were very small photos of the rooms are not what they look like on the photos. There are no staff around when you need them. The noise at night is very loud from the street, better double glazing would be helpful. The stairs to floors are very narrow No lifts to floors, so if you are old disabled person it’s not good. Over all this hotel is basic of basic it beats staying in a tent.

The staff at this hotel are amazing, so friendly and helpful..... rooms a little dated but perfect for a few nights stay. Would definitely return if back in Newquay.

John and the staff are remarkable. The rooms are superb for value. Although the shower might prove tight squeeze for some, the facilities are more than adequate. The breakfast is equally amazing with a wide variety available. They have a recreation room, a kitchen and a utility room for cleaning clothes. The hotel is just a stone's throw from the main road and there are two beaches close by. If you find yourself in Newquay, the Glendeveor is a worthy stopover
