Great hostel in the heart of Beirut. Helpful staff and comfortable beds. The food served was very good. There is a bit of room for improvement regarding bathroom hygiene. But apart from that, happy to recommend 👌

Such a charming and cozy place to stay. We booked for a private room with private bath and balcony. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. Breakfast was simple and delicious. All of the staff were super helpful. We would absolutely stay again.

Worst hotel/hostal check in experience. I arrived late because my flight was delayed, apparently check in was allowed but the security guard was not able to help despite receiving a message saying there won’t be any problem. (In his defence he just didn’t know what to do and tried to call his boss and the booking was made late). Avoid this place, it’s 4 am in the morning I have waited for 40 mins and I was told I could sleep on a wooden board in the kitchen. Update: I was offered a free night stay and the place is very solid and people are kind. Going from 1 to 3 stars

The whole staff is amazing. Reception, bar and kitchen boys and girls are the best. Super efficient, nice and friendly they really add another star to the place that I think it's quite nice. The place is very charming, comfortable and clean . I had a private room with a shared bathroom with another room. It was nice and always clean. And YES there are many restaurants in a walking distance from the hotel. That is what the area Gemeyze is famous for. There is also a 24/7 market (Hibou) at walking distance of 10 minutes from the from the hotel. One of the four hostels in Beirut (at the more expensive end at ~25 USD per night for a dorm bed). The accommodation fits the price, with it being very clean. Unfortunately there is no common room (with a trendy cafe / restaurant instead). Included free breakfast of fruits and light salads. Took me a while to find the right food menu and then I had a lovely meal of Daoud Basha (meatballs in tomato sauce) for 7 USD.
