The hostel was absolutely lovely. The check in was easy and the person at the front desk was such a nice person. He was light hearted and so kind. The room itself wasn't too shabby. Maybe a little cold but otherwise great. The bathroom was ok but the stairs to the rooms on the bottom of the boat were kind of slippery. The location was also great, such a litlle walk to anywhere. But overall had a lovely time! Tack!

We stayed in a small (tiny) room with bunk beds. We only stayed here for 1 night, and we were more than happy with the room, which was surprisingly comfortable, and the service we received was great, especially for the price that we paid. It was a great location and close to everything that we wanted to do that evening. The staff at the hotel was happy to give us advice on getting back to the airport in the morning, and offered to pre book us a taxi. But we opted to book through Uber ourselves as it was a lot cheaper.

We stayed in the captain's cabin aboard the White Boat (behind the red boat) and it was perfect. The room was small compared to a normal hotel room but we had our own bathroom and amazing views of the city over the water. It was only a short walk to the old-town and nearest subway station. The staff were friendly and helpful. The whole hotel could do with being tidied up a bit there was a bit of wear and tear in our room but for the price we paid I cannot grumble at all. I would rebook in a heartbeat.

Not worth the novelty value of staying on a boat, or the reasonable price, and I would not recommend unless you are a heavy sleeper. I booked for 2 nights and checked out a night early. I was in Room 33 which faced the road rather than the harbour; only half the rooms have the harbour view and I did not know when I booked whether I would get the view. The room was small and dated but functional. The road outside was busy and noisy and I could even hear the ticking of the traffic lights. The blinds at the window let in a lot of light. The bed was narrow and the mattress thin. I can imagine feeling claustrophobic in the room if I were taller. There is no internal route to the showers/toilets from the top deck. There are no locks on the individual showers so you have to lock the entire bathroom if you want privacy, preventing other guests from using it. The walls were thin and there was a mechanical sounding noise in the evening which disturbed my sleep and I could feel the vibrations through the bed. The noise happened every few seconds for multiple hours. The night staff couldn't explain the noise and said nobody had complained about it before. I checked out a night early and explained to the receptionist that this was because of the noise. I asked whether they would consider a partial refund or discount and he said he would speak to his manager the next day and be in contact. I never heard from them.
