Great location and the rooms were great. Actual Queen size bed and it was comfy and so were the pillows. Parking was great as well as there was always a spot especially with all the activities going on that weekend. Got to have dinner at the restaurant on site and enjoy one of the football playoff games on Saturday and food was great. Not overpriced and drinks were good as well. I strongly recommend this place.

If I could rate it 0 star, I would totally do it. It is super ridiculous to have a 4 stars hotel with central heating system breakdown in all the rooms and still in business in winter. This is shady and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. 4 stars hotel with 2 stars service and facility but charging a four stars rate. Instead of repairing the broken old heating system, they offered extra blankets and portable space heater. This is the most disgusting hotel I have ever encountered. Totally unacceptable. Edited in response to their comment about being proactive - we did not receive the portable heater even though we requested for it. I was there for two nights too. A real proactive effort would be calling or emailing the guests prior to the stay to ensure the guests have sufficient time to find an alternative accommodation if they can’t accept what your hotel was offering. I don’t see why you have time to buy portable heaters but be shady enough to not inform anyone until they ask why is the heater not warm after checking in. No one told us about it at the reception, I regret my stay. I don’t ever stay in hotels with lower than 4 stars, but you top the list of the worst hotels in this country. I think a 3 stars hotel in Houston will outshine you.

At first I thought the recent poor reviews must be a fluke but nope, not only do these folks add a 25 galleria fee per day, a penalty of 50 a day holding fee if you prepay, 47 dollars a day valley or 15 self parking they top it off with the rudest staff in existence of any hotel. The only thing above average was the gym.

Good location. That's about it. It's clear from the moment you walk in that this is an old hotel that is run by several different companies trying to wring out as much money as possible from each guest. Very little info when you check in the front desk. I had to ask where the elevator was and every other basic service. You have to pay for parking. You have to pay for any breakfast. There's a "destination fee" of $22+ per day (whatever that is). They put super cheap Ozark bottled water in your room and expect you to pay $4 per bottle if you open it. The refrigerator in the room didn't work. We asked for a microwave which wasn't there so I had to ask when we got there. They did get one - the smallest, cheapest one I'd ever seen. I could go on but you get the idea. Good luck trying to call and get the front desk. You'll get a 3rd party management company who may or may not be able to help you.
