Rooms are nice, but after staying here a few times they are starting to feel a bit dated. They are in need of some renovation. I visited the InterContinental in Osaka and it is breathtaking. Strings should make some updates to the lobby/lounge decor, breakfast selection, and renovate the rooms to match the quality of their Osaka hotel. Service is impeccable as always. Location next to the station is also great. Employees are very good at their job here. Definitely recommend, but think they need to update a few things.

I really recommend this hotel. The service is superb and the staffs were friendly. The rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. The breakfast was also great and had a lot selections. Location is right next to the train station which makes it really accessible to go around Tokyo using trains, subway, and shinkanshen.

Hotel I will absolutely stay at again the next time I'm in Tokyo. Truly a 5-star gem. Location: It's part of the massive Shinagawa Station complex, basically on top of it, so it's arguably one of the best placed luxury hotels in Tokyo, with easy access to any metro line you could possibly want as well as Haneda (and Narita, although its longer) Airport. It can be a little tricky to find at first from inside the station - look for the Konan exit, and bear right on the skywalk. Rooms: I booked a Club Twin and the photos don't do justice to how massive it was. Loved the corner view as well. Bathroom products were full sized ByRedo, which I loved. Amenities were on point. Room included a jawbone speaker, and a TV we didn't use. Food: I always recommend lounge access in Japanese hotels and this one did not disappoint. Food was incredible for every service, and the presentation was top notch. They also had special soba noodles for New Years Eve, as well as special Osechi breakfast for New Years Day, which was exactly what I wanted. The regular breakfast in their main lobby restaurant was also top notch, and I will say that I enjoyed how special the lounge felt since it was not (all) buffet-style and was instead sit down service, with a small additional bread/drinks/food section. Other Amenities: There's no spa at this hotel but they do have a very small, but perfectly serviceable, gym on the 27th floor. I passed it several times on accident because it looks identical to a hotel room from the outside.

If I can give this hotel more stars, I definitely would do so ! The rooms are spacious and very clean, the location is right next to Shinagawa station, there are convenience stores and restaurants that open till late very nearby. The service the hotel provides is the most amazing I've had in Japan. Miss Date , the concierge made the trip very memorable and pleasant ! Had a problem with our itinerary and Miss Date not only very patiently assisted us, and also helped us make the reservations. Her positive attitude, energy and bright smile along with her efforts made our trip to Japan very memorable. Thank you Miss Date !

Location was the reason I chose this hotel, but there are more reasons I know now why this was the best choice of hotel to stay in Tokyo. First, the hotel is adjacent to Shinagawa station with covered walkway. Second, hotel is fairly new and extremely clean and well kept. Third, staffs are very polite and attend to your needs. Fourth, the size of room is big compared to other hotels in Tokyo. Fifth, so many restaurants to choose from in a short walking distance. This will be my choice of hotel anytime I visit Tokyo.
