Mediocre rooms for the price and area. There were a few small issues with the room on top of the fact that it was very dated. The shower mat was unusable due to dirt, and the shower rail was falling off the wall. However The bed was comfy & the room was clean besides the bathroom issues. I was visiting with work overnight, so I wasn't there long enough to complain. If I were staying for personal use, I would've definitely had something to say. Wouldn't be somewhere I'd book again unfortunately

Probably the worst hotel I've ever been in. Housekeeping didn't get to clean our room until 5pm when we were out since 8am all day and all we wanted to do was lay down and rest when we got back. They were still changing our sheets, I had to tell them to forget about hoovering for the sake of our sanity. On top of that, there's a horrible old stench in the hallways and stained carpeted floors, very old furniture and horrible set up in the rooms. The key card kept deactivating. Just a mess. Great location but the worst hotel even though it's a Holiday Inn..You deserve better than this, stay somewhere else.

Well, I booked a room, not a front-row seat to the Train Symphony Orchestra! 🚂 For £325 a night, I expected luxury, not a cozy train cabin experience. My "upgrade" felt more like an experiment in spatial compression with the shower as obstacle course. This embarrassment should come with complimentary earplugs… and maybe a soap refill. The outdated interior felt like a time-travel tour back to the '70s. I half-expected disco music to start playing from the floral-patterned wallpaper. If retro-chic is your thing, this hotel is practically a vintage masterpiece. @IHG, perhaps a renovation could be your time-travel ticket to the 21st century!

Great location, you're walking distance to Oxford circus, Hyde park and a few other local tourist spots-if you don't mind a brisk walk. There are great eateries around. But after 9pm good luck. As for the hotel...old not well kept. I read a few of the reviews (of course after we checked in) most saying the same thing the place is dated, weird molded smell and the rooms are way too small for the price. Definitely won't stay here again.
