Small in size but big on service. Targeting Japanese guests, everything is almost made in Japan from the toilet seats, TV to coffee machine. Service is intimate and personal, and a special shout out to MOMO sister who works at the breakfast restaurant for sharing her faith and social commentary on Taiwanese youths and culture. Rooms are small but compact and comfortable. Not that near to mrt stations but a brisk 10 minute walk should get you there. Restaurants, food, family mart stores and 7-11 in the vicinity. We are travellers from Singapore and Malaysia so our reputation for being picky and particular precedes us , so its pretty good value and u can trust us on this. Of course it also helps that we won a NT$5000.hotel voucher!

I stayed at this hotel in Nov 2023. On checking in, the reception Mr Wang was very helpful and friendly. He also kindly recommended places to go and provided Taipei maps. His recommendations were very useful. The spread for breakfast was generous and was prepared by Madam Momo. She was also very helpful in providing guides and hints on where to go and what to do in Taipei. The rooms are very well furnished and even the toilets have the Japanese style bidets. The hotel is walking distance to the ZhongShan mrt station. About 10 minutes walk. Finally on leaving, the reception lady was very helpful and kind in helping us find our way to the AirPort Express. Thank you Tokyo International Hotel. It has been a nice and pleasant stay.
