I stayed in Room 210 and had a great view of the Matterhorn. I absolutely loved the room and the staff. I plan to take another vacation to Switzerland and will definitely return to this hotel. The food was outstanding as well as the pool, sauna, and steam room. I also had a sports massage, which was great! 5 STARS!!!

This was the prettiest hotel! Tucked into Zermatt and full of warm touches. The rooms were all wood and so cozy. The view was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see from this hotel which was so convenient. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The train station wasn't too far away (they provided a shuttle) and we were able to walk to the main shopping area and restaurants. A great spot when in Zermatt!

Amazing hospitality from the workers and the owner. The food was so delicious! Breakfast, teas with cakes and dinners. Bravo to the chef and all team for great work. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back soon.

This is an awesome hotel in a spectacular location. The hotel has several amenities, including a great restaurant and even a pool. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. And the showers deserve a 5 star review all by themselves. It is located about a 5 minutes slow walk from Zermatt's main street. But above all is the fantastic staff. Everyone is extremely pleasant and helpful, with special mention for folks like Denise at the bar and Miguel and Luis who took us us and forth from the train station. With that said, Carina really stole the show and demonstrated what I believe Meinrad Julen wanted when he would wait for potential guests for his mother's pension back in 1918 - a love for her guests and the hotel. She took wonderful care of us throughout our stay from the moment we walked in the door until we checked out. If you have a bucket list, add Zermatt to it and definitely add a stay at Tradition Julen Hotel. You will not regret a moment of it. By the way, did I mention we had a perfect view of the Matterhorn from our room balcony (room 209)?
