I booked 4 nights through Traveluro. I started getting creeped out vibe as soon as I walked in. The hotel staff was nice. That's the only good thing about the hotel. As I'm walking down the long, narrow and dimly lit halls to our room, it felt like a horror movie. Each room looked like it would lead to our death. We finally got to our room. There are markings on the door frame that looked like someone has either attempted, or did break into that room. We were met with an extremely strong odour of stale cigarette smoke as soon as we stepped inside. We found a bug as soon as we walked into the bathroom. We think it was a baby cockroach. We took a pic, and added it here. I decided to take my dog for a walk around the building since he was stuck in the car for quite a few hours. There were stragglers around every corner. Sketched me out lol then there were so many curtains open where we could see directly in their room. One of the rooms had two naked native people lying on the beds 🤢🤮 we did not want to stay there for 4 nights. Even though our reservation was non-refundable, we decided to get out of there very quickly. We took the hit and didn't look back.

This was a shock to the system. I normally have some expectations for a Wyndham property but this was next level. I was greeted to two drunk men outside the hotel, then another asking for money inside. The staff at the front counter were pleasant. That's where it ends. The hotel was dirty, old and in need of just being torn down. I took photos and video and sent to some coworkers and they could not believe anyone would stay in a place in this condition for $135 Canadian a night. I wish I wouldn't have arrived at 11:30pm or I would have looked for other accommodations. I highly recommend you find other hotels to stay at. If my family would have been with me we would have never even walked in.

The staff were excellent but the hotel itself I would not recommend. The room was advertised as "pool side" it had a window to see the pool none of the rooms actually had access to the pool as you would expect with a pool side room. The most disturbing part was the room had clearly been broken into previously- the door jam was broken, the latch lock was missing and the dead bolt didn't lock properly. We left and went to the Hilton on the other end of town.

The room was big with nice new flooring the beds and room were clean bathroom was a little small. The beds were a little hard but not the worst i have slept in. The slides were fun except the big slide wasnt working and when the maintenance worker came in after nine and kicked us out cos the pool was closed (there was no clock in the room) he was very rude about it and turned off all the lights on us while we were getting ready to leave which is very dangerous

The pool was clean and fun, and the water was warm. The rooms weren’t horrible and were clean. Other than that it was pretty sketchy and dirty; doors didn’t work properly, the hall carpets were stained, a homeless man tried to sell us bongs at the side entrance, the breakfast cafe was in the basement and had a pretty grungy vibe and the rooms were quite bland. Overall it was cheap and we got what we paid for, we will definitely pay extra next time to get a better place.
