Had a fantastic 2 night stay in the centre of Edinburgh. Staff were so friendly and accommodating, I was so impressed by the service. Room was clean and comfortable, the shower did leak on the floor a little even with the curtain pulled across, but it wasn’t really an issue! Location wise, we were in the heart of the city and it was just a short walk to everything we wanted to see. Would absolutely stay again and will be recommending to friends!

26/11/23 - Two night stay We picked this hotel based on location and price. It's just a short walk from the train station and all the attractions of Edinburgh. The room was clean and perfect for a short stay. There is a lack of shelving for clothing so might be an issue if staying longer. The guy on reception was a pleasure to meet.

We stayed here on 02/12/23. The warm welcome at reception by Mr. T of TripAdvisor fame was an excellent start to what was a pleasant one night stay. We were allocated room 221 which is on the 2nd floor. There's a lift and then a long corridor to the room with some wonky floor levels to contend with but nothing extreme. The room was a very good size for 2 and the shower room was clean and tidy. The room had a tv and kettle with tea and coffee sachets. The bed was very comfy and clean. For the location which is a few minutes walk from Waverley Station, the noise was not excessive but was present but in a city centre, that's not a surprise. There's the Waterloo bar and a cafe called Pep and Fodder right next to the hotel and both offer pleasant surroundings and reasonable prices. The real gem here though is the staff who were all helpful, friendly and attentive. 6 stars for them!!
