Unplugged

There's no elevator on the ground floor only stairs and a very small and steep ramp which i don't think it helps at all. We had 4 luggages with us and we had to carry all of them upstairs to the 1st floor which was such a hassle after a long day of traveling. On top of that, I had to go across the street to Hotel Emma to use a self-service check-in kiosk. When i was back to the hotel, my boyfriend told me someone approached him and talked gibberish and the other person was behind him trying to steal his bag. Luckily he found out before it's stolen but the whole experience was really awful. There were shady people in front of the hotel from time to time and it really made us feel unsafe and uncomfortable. There were even people signing and shouting at nights during the weekend. The hotel is not cheap but it feels like a hostel or even worse where you got only a small pantry in the public area and no staff in the building 24/7. The room is decent and spacious but very minimum without a fridge or a safe and definitely not as big as it seems in the pictures. The shower is spacious but the glass panel is too small and the water splashes out a lot. The worst thing is the shower head started dripping for a minute or two every night around 5am and woke me up every single time ... We are staying for 5 nights in room 16 and I just hope there are no more problems during our stay. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel if you expect hotel quality and services. edit: we realized afterwards that the coffee room was open from 6am to 11pm so we couldn't get our food from the fridge after midnight and we were leaving before 6am.. also there's curfew so we couldn't get in after celebrating new year.. luckily we found out there's an intercom so we could speak to someone about it. We booked through agoda and we did self check-in, so there's no one introducing us about the hotel. we only realized them when we experienced inconvenience.

Good hotel, great location! Room was small, you couldn't open the window since it was in Souterrain. But all in all a good place to stay.
