It was very good all in all, hotel and service. We was in short business trip and makes a little romantic getaway out of it as well. The sister hotels and the beaches in the area are also top class. Rooms was super quiet and clean. Breakfast was great. Entertainment at the bar outside was very nice every evening! Bus to the town just outside the hotel. I say thank you!

We spent one night at Valamar Tirena. The hotel itself was amazing! Our room was upgraded to a room with a sea view. It was very clean and renovated not so long ago. We booked a room with breakfast included which we can only recommend! The buffet contained many options for vegetarians and vegans. The cherry on top was that we were allowed to use the SPA from the neighbor hotel Valamar Lacroms the next day after checkout which was truly amazing! Maria at the reception was super helpful with everything!! We will make sure to come again. Thanks!

Stayed here for a week after being moved when the Valamar Argosy closed early for refurbishment. Room was spacious with a nice balcony and a good shower. Really good breakfast buffet with a great selection of foods on offer. Enjoyed the cocktail bar. Tried the evening buffet on our last night and was a bit disappointed by the quality. Good location with frequent buses into Dubrovnik. We visited towards the end of the season when it was relatively quiet but I could imagine a lot of families stay here in peak periods so maybe not the best choice if you don't have kids. Staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay and the hotel is spotless. I liked the army of feral cats that inhabit the grounds and politely beg for scraps if you are eating al fresco.

Brilliant stay at Valamar Tirena Hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Child friendly with so many activities for our daughter (21 months) to take part in. The staff were excellent. So friendly and interactive with our daughter. A particular mention to Mario in The Oliva pool side restaurant. He went the extra mile in entertaining our daughter even when she wasn’t in the best of moods 😂 Don’t know how we’ll resume a normal life without all the Ice cream 🍨 😂🍨

Good hotel for a relaxing holiday with children in Dubrovnik. The Maro Word Kids Club is incomparable for kids of all ages. I advise for a family holiday with half board: breakfast and dinner (Large and tasty selection of dishes for breakfast and dinner). At lunch, it is better to dine with children in the city and on excursions outside the hotel. With the cleaning of the rooms a little unclear: in the morning, we went for a walk. Returned at 2:30 p.m. the room has not been cleaned. The housekeeping worker only arrived at 3 p.m., and we had, tiered, after a hot walk, to wait in the lobby until she cleaned up.
