Great little hotel. Some of the decor is dated but the rooms are comfy and the location is amazing. Nice touch with the wine at 5pm and also the breakfast is not fancy but they have a waffle machine!! Really enjoyed our stay there.

Everything that is romantic and vintage; visually and aesthetically put together rooms; thoughtful gift to couples with a beloved well-loved dog. High quality not falling short on quantity and truly memorable guest services. Nearby beautiful ocean sights, lemongrass lotion & body wash, wine & cheese snacks, intimate and cozy during our holiday stay. We will be coming back, highly recommend!

Loved this cute Victorian hotel! Rooms are decorated so nice and we had a warm fireplace. My family loved it. Rooms are spacious with a table and window sitting area, and desk. We will definitely book here again when we are in town.

Pros: just 2 easy blocks from Cannery Row, dog friendly, breakfast included, nice little refreshing happy hour, fun fireplace, easy in and out. Convenient parking garage Cons: OK beds n sheets, needs updating, cigar smoking couple rooms over drove us out of our room, breakfast staff come crashing in at 10am sharp and rip the breakfast food away (even as I watched, one person was choosing a bagel and the staff took them all away!) This was amusing, but really not good business behavior. Special shout out to the front desk staff who really go out of their way to be helpful. They really love to spoil their canine guests and that is so appreciated!! 5 paws just for that. :)

If you like dated, well worn decor/rooms then this is the place for you! Very disappointed there is no air conditioning and that it is not clearly indicated on their website. Also, the house pictured is not where you will be staying. You have to click the "read more" to learn "adjacent" in the third paragraph means a motel building in the back. We enjoyed the afternoon of keeping the sliding glass door open for ventilation while hearing the cleaning staff/maintenance noises, vacuuming, passing siren/car sounds, and kids/people slamming doors. All through a torn sheer curtain, while feeling secure (joking) on the 1st floor wide open patio shared with the neighbors that anyone could walk by or in. The website says, "wind down while relaxing on your private patio or balcony". Simply not true. I don't look like writing negative reviews, but it's important to share real experiences and information.
