Staff was friendly and helpful until i mentioned the smell coming from the shower. Was told it was normal and would go away in 10-15 minutes…didnt not go away unless we ran the shower. Parking is NOT included. 9€ overnight or 20€ for every 24 hours Shower had no door so the bathroom turned into a swimming pool. Would strongly suggest to walk right by and grab a delicious kebab next door and find somewhere else to stay

We stayed 10 at the hotel, my wife had a medical emergency while on Lyon, and this hotel treated us like home. Took so much care of us, the room was super clean, everyone was so helpful. The location is perfect, if you need to go to a train is just a few steps away or walking disctance to most places ! Thanks Villa Berlioz! You are the best!

The hotel is newly renovated, as of the time of this review. All rooms as well. So it is very new and clean. Rooms are a bit small for three but normal for two people and generally compliant with France room sizes:). On the other hand, rooms have a huge bathroom and great shower. The walls are a bit thin so can be noisy, if the rooms are full.. The staff both day and night were amazingly friendly. The location is not the best in Lyon but I am sure you can see on the map, how far it is to what you need. There is parking almost right in front of the hotel, which is €10 for the whole night until 9 in the morning if you pay at the reception. The square behind the train station, which is a 5-minute walk, has a nice Christmas market and some nice restaurants and shopping around it.. So generally we can say it is a hotel with a good price/performance ratio.
