I would have rated a bit higher if it wasn’t for the last hours of our experience. First of all, the rooftop everyone is so enchanted by is full of wasps/bees attacking your food. I understand there is not a lot the hotel can do about this, but there are a few things to be done, like putting honey somewhere on the side to keep the bees busy. None of the staff cares though. Then, arriving downstairs to checkout, we are charged 26 euros per person for breakfast… to be clear, it’s a very thin breakfast of cereal, bread, 3 cheeses and 3 low quality meats… that’s it. The person downstairs tells me I could have ordered something else from the waiters… nobody offered us anything extra and I even had a small child with me. Nobody else on the rooftop was having anything else, so I don’t even know if this is true. In addition, the rooms are ok. Small windows, comfortable beds. Stupidly large toilet space while the shower is only covered with a curtain so if you have a baby with you, there is not a lot you can do about noise reduction. Location is great. Cleaning staff was super sweet.

Good hotel.. lacking in any sort of atmosphere but rooms are nice. Amenities including body and hair products, Air conditioning, very small gym, water and coffee in room. Typical breakfast, a little less than some, but nice rooftop location. Rooms are quiet. Central area 3rd floor with water and coffee and computer.

We stayed at the Hotel Maison Nô for 2 nights at the end of July and we would have wanted to stay for the roof terrace alone. The staff is very courteous and friendly, whether downstairs at reception or upstairs in the breakfast room/restaurant. The rooms are wonderful too. We'd love to come back.

The position is very central - the old town is within walking distance and the metro station is 5 minutes away. Breakfast on the rooftop is more or less basic, but the view of the Fourvière hill in the morning is very nice. The hotel's lobby, elevators, rooms, and bathrooms are very clean. The staff was very, very friendly and they spoke very good English! We didn't get the room as shown in the photos - there was less light since the room was facing the inside of the building. The window couldn't be opened, but the ventilation was good. The standard room is quite small, but if you'll not spend too much time in it, it's more than enough.
