Clean comfortable and convenient. We stayed one night here and it was ok. You actually check in at the the Grand Plaza and have breakfast there if that's the board basis your on which is over the road. It is in a very good location for the promenade which runs alongside Lake Geneva. Would stop there again.

I liked everything about this hotel. In my 15 days long Swiss Paris trip and 5 hotels, this hotel had the most helpful and helpful staff. First of all the hotel is at walking distance from Montreux train station and the bus stop also is just outside the hotel. 3-4 buses from station come here. It is just that u have to go to hotel royal plaza for check in and checkout. And also for other amenities like restaurant, gym, swimming pool etc. We did not opt for any hence we didn't have much problem. The room are very nice vintage type with high seiling. I liked the light peach colour decor too. Beds were comfortable. All toiletries were provided. Slippers were not there hence we asked the housekeeping staff for it and though there was language problem but they arranged it from Royal plaza the next day. The rooms have big windows which open on the road. Only negative point was the toilet was very small but manageable. Overall we had a great 3 nts stay here.

OK, this is going to be a strange review. We arrived in Montreaux and went to the Royal Plaza Hotel. That is where you check in for the Hotel VIlla Toscane. The Royal Plaza is beautiful, but the Hotel Villa Toscane is across the street, older, dated, in desparate need of paint and new carpeting, and without air conditioning. Once we got into the room at the Villa Toscane, I knew we could not stay there comfortably. So we went back across the street to the Royal Plaza and paid the extra to stay there. It was lovely. It also lacked air conditioning but was right on the lake and you could open the windows and get a breeze. I would not recommend staying in the Hotel Villa Toscane, but would heartily recommend the Royal Plaza.

My wife and I enjoyed staying at Villa Toscana during our recent visit to Montreux. As usual, the room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, reflecting its Italian past. The reception and the breakfast service at the RP was friendly and efficient. We can recommend Villa Toscana to anyone who wants to have a reasonably-piced, leasurely stay close to the center of Montreux.
