This place is one of the more affordable and well-located spots in Chiang Mai. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable, but the pillows were not, and the shower leaked everywhere with little pressure. We also ran out of toilet roll and soap and neither were replaced so we had to go buy some, as the staff leave at 5pm. On our final day we left our bags there and when we returned at 1pm as we said we would, the woman was not there to let us in so we had to wait. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but the staff were very blunt and their absence sometimes made it difficult

This place is located very near to Chiang Mai’s Sunday Market and near to tha pae. No one was there when we arrived and we had to wait for someone to arrive and check-in. The rooms are cramped and old fashioned, the place has 3 to 4 floors but no escalator. Parking space is free but very minimal, first come first serve basis. This place is like colony where there is another hotel and a massage shop in the same compound. During nights the massage lady keeps shouting the room number in every floor of the hotel, not sure why but that was disturbing and we got panicked. There is no room service available for towel change during our stay. Smoking is strictly not allowed in any part of the building there is no balcony, so you have to come down every time to smoke. This stay is good for location but not so comfortable.

Relatively cheap for the location. Service is non-existing. There was no one present when we arrived and we had to wait for someone to arrive to check us in. The rooms are okay but a little oddly built as if turning the building into a hotel was not the original purpose. Overall not a comfortable place. Only chose for the location.

I arrived at 22:00, (10:00pm,) with no way to check in/nobody to check me in. There was a number to call for late arrivals, which I could not get to work with my phone, which had a Thailand sim card. I had to go to a restaurant to get help from a nice local, who called the number from his phone. The person who answered was at another location. He told me that he left a key to the hotel for me in a box mounted next to the door, (anybody could have used the key for a free nights stay.) I walked back to the hotel with my luggage, and tried to open the door with my key. I could not get the key to work. I walked to another business with my luggage, and had another nice local call the business again. I complained, and wanted a refund. The person I spoke to told me to cancel with the booking site I used, (Agoda.) There was a non-refundable clause in my booking terms, as the property outright refuses to give refunds. I had to find another place to stay at 23:00, (11:00pm,) and will not get back my money from Agoda, or Walking Street Resistance. WHAT A RIPOFF!!!
