The room and bathroom were clean. The bathrooms had these neat soap dispensers in the shower which I liked because they seemingly reduced waste from individual samples. I also really liked the shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion which was from Crabtree and Evelyn. The rooms were comfortable but lacked a mini-fridge. As someone who only eats takeout when they travel, this was a real bummer because I couldn’t take leftovers with me. There also isn’t a microwave in the room. The hallways feel kinda dark and gloomy, but the main hotel is quite nice. The staff here was polite and friendly. It’s located right on DuPont Circle, which is a nice area with lots of restaurants and things to see in walking distance like embassy row, the cathedral etc.

Nicole was amazing at check-in and I appreciated all her help. Guy Burton was helpful when leaving assisting my friends and I with our luggage. Although the food was great, the restaurant which could be due to staffing was slow and could use some improvement in the overall experience. Security could use more training. When responding to a noise complaint coming from my room, although he was nice he did not handle the complaint as if he knew what he was doing. Overall great location.

The hotel is so old. The beds are very uncomfortable, the carpet is nasty, and the bathroom/shower is all dated and piss poor shower. Parking costs $58/day, and food is expensive. They don't have full or continental breakfast. A sandwich costs $16. The location is OK and the hotel has a nice lobby. Poor guest service as well.

This was a pretty solid hotel as far as service and location. However, it's clear the rooms need more attention and updating. My AC was not working either cold or hot, TV wasn't working, toilet didn't flush. However, when I brought this to staff attention, I was pleased with their professionalism and quick work. I would stay here again but if it happened twice, then I'd look for another hotel.

Great location and service The room, a king size bedroom looks small. The front desk was very nice and responsive via the app . I asked to pick up toothpaste and mouthwash, they just sent them up to the room. I asked to pickup more water after finishing all welcome water , they simply sent more bottles to the room. Late checkout and parking exit were also generously offered
