The location is fantastic! It is 5minutes walk from the subway station. The room and the bathroom is nice and clean! The walls of the room have absolutely no sound insulation... So if you have good earplugs: than this is a great place to stay, good value for money!

This might have been 4 star once upon a time when it first opened back in the 1970’s. It’s dated and not worth the price. It’s more 2 star. The breakfast and coffee is dire and the staff are rude. However, rooms were serviced daily with bins emptied and fresh towels. Housekeeping staff were friendly. However, We will not stay here again and more likely to book an Airbnb - there’s some good options that look better and cheaper than this.

I had a fantastic experience from beginning to end at the this delightful hotel. Kato Patisia is a great location, I loved the bakeries and shops which were quality and much cheaper than the more central places. As a solo female traveller I felt safe at all times, only 5 mins walk to metro and a 10 min ride to Monastraki. My superior room was beautifully furnished with comfy bed and pillows, spacious balcony and wet room. The staff were friendly and very helpful with directions, restaurant recommendations etc they even gave me a leaving gift. My room was thoroughly cleaned daily and sheets and towels always fresh. Xenophon definitely lives up to its 4 star rating and I would happily stay again.

Do not stay here. Unfortunately this is a very bad part of Athens. There are a lot of foreigners (non Greeks). Not for tourists! The man at the check in desk was very nice and helpful. We checked in super early but the young man at the front desk did help us to get a room a lot sooner than check in time. He was very accommodating but we left immediately. I can’t say much about the hotel because we didnt end up staying but from what I could see The hotel is very old and outdated. I definitely would not recommend.
