Our stay was outstanding. The quiet & beautiful location, convenience to the Osaka-bound train, modern yet cozy lobby area, and extremely comfortable rooms were unforgettable. I would return here without question.

Rooms are nice, location great if you want to explore the west of Kyoto and the surrounding nature & woods. Biggest draw of the hotel is without question the breakfast - this was one of the best culinary experiences we had in the first week of Japan (and we had a lot from restaurants with multiple Michelin stars to high-class unagi joints).

It's a new hotel at Arashiyama- spotlessly clean and beautiful rooms and minimalistic design lobby and lounge. The lounge is very relaxing with complimentary coffee and tea. The breakfast is specially curated according to the season and absolutely delicious- it's definitely a highlight for the stay! Staff speaks English and service is excellent. There is a sushi shop in front, a sweet shop next door and Lawson down the road near the train station. A short walk to the Arashiyama monkey park and a temple with Great Views down the road. In front of the hotel is a beautiful park facing the rivers with a lot of amazing tea shop and restaurant. Thank you for the amazing stay.

Stayed on 28 Nov 2023 Tip top service and convenience location. Around 10 minutes walk from Hankyu Arashiyama station, and 5mins walk to the Togetsukyo Bridge. Love that the basin is located outside of the washroom which save a lot of out times while another person is using he washroom. Pyjamas is available upon request and they delivered at our doorstep. The public lounge only open at 7 or 8am, will not be available if your schedule is early to escape crowds at the Bamboo forest. PS: we had our cup noodle breakfast at the nearby outdoor park right next to the river wth fabulous sunrise view.
