Description
Uniquely matured in ex-bourbon casks, quarter casks and then puncheons, the Triple Wood displays gentle peat notes, yet huge depth of flavour thanks to the triple cask maturation. Unlike any other whisky, the second maturation is done in small 19th century style quarter casks created specially for Ardmore. It is the third 'finish' that adds banana and underlies a wonderfully rich fruity complexity.
