As per the Guidelines for International Arrival published by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, 2% of the total flight passengers shall undergo random testing on arrival. Passengers shall be allowed to leave the airport post undergoing the test. Children under 12 years of age are exempted from post-arrival random testing.

- CISF personnel deployed at the entrance of the Airport will ensure that no one is allowed to enter the Airport without wearing a mask. Passenger without a facemask will not be permitted to enter the terminal.
- At the airport, he/ she can be fined as per the State Law and may be handed over to Security Agencies as per the applicable law on the subject.
- They can be deboarded before departure.
- During the course of the flight such passenger may be treated as “Unruly Passenger” and procedure in respect of handling such unruly passenger shall be followed by the concerned airline.
Mangaluru International Airport
Mangaluru International Airport, previously known as Bajpe Aerodrome, is situated in Bajpe at a distance of 13 km from Mangaluru. It is one of the two international airports in the state of Karnataka. Inaugurated by Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru in 1951, Mangaluru International Airport commenced its global operations in 2006. It is the first airport to have two tabletop runways. The airport is connected to major Indian cities as well as to several cities in the Middle East.
