The Jodhpur airport (IATA code JDH) is located 5 km from main Jodhpur city in Rajasthan. It is a civil enclave airport and is managed by the Airports Authority of India (AAI). The Rajasthan government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Air Force in March 2017 for the extension of the civil enclave, under which AAI will receive 37 acres of IAF land. With over 500,000 passengers coming through each year, the Jodhpur airport is India’s 44th busiest airport.

In the 1920s, Maharaja Umaid Singh established the Jodhpur Flying Club at a small airport near the Chittar Palace in Jodhpur. During the course of the next three decades, the airfield grew in importance, serving as a base for the Royal Air Force (RAF) during World War II. The airport has 1 terminal, the domestic terminal, which connects it to a number of places across India. Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi Airport, popularly known as Guwahati Airport, and formerly known as Borjhar Airport, is the principal airport of India’s Northeastern states and one of the country’s largest international airports. It is the 11th busiest airport in India. It is located in Borjhar, which is 26 Km from Dispur, the state capital of Assam, and 28 Km from Guwahati. It is named after the late Gopinath Bordoloi, a freedom warrior and Assam’s first Chief Minister following India’s independence. There are two terminals at Guwahati International Airport.
