Chandigarh Airport, also known as Shaheed Bhagat Singh Airport (IATA Code: IXC), is located in the Mohali district of Punjab. The airport is approximately 21 km from Chandigarh's sector 17 bus stand. It has two terminals - one for domestic flights and the other one handles international flights. Maharaja Umaid Singh founded the Jodhpur Flying Club in a tiny airport near his Chittar Palace in the 1920s.
