The hotel is not worth the name it had once. The place is very shabby and not maintained at all. The food was just not good. The service and the staff were just least concerned and were busy with their own leisure. It was once a property to be at and today it is best ignored if you just want to step in for a few hours and freshen up before your flight. The proximity to the airport is the only good point

Only good thing is location. You can take shuttle service from pillar 9 if you don’t have excess luggage. Bus drops you 200 m from hotel gate. This hotel requires immediate attention for its maintenance. Staff here is courteous and friendly. One night stay for an early morning flight, it’s recommended.

Hotel Centaur , a huge property in Prime location , spacious rooms and accessibility to Air port fails to live up to it's contemporaries.. what could have been a marvel.of elegance has lost it's sheen due to sheer lack of desired Maintenance.. Good for an emergency overnight stay else avoidable.. The best thing of the Hotel is about the lobby that is enormous in it's size.. No hotel has such lobby including the Marriott .. If little investment and right management goes in then the property can have it's glory days..back ...A difficult feat but not impossible to.

This place is extremely close to the airport. Hotel is spread over a sprawling area and appeared to be a luxurious and happening place once upon a time. Even now it is very good but needs some maintenance in some areas. It was an Indian Airlines hotel. The current staff appears to be from the airlines. They are extremely courteous and warm. Food portions are very good and tasty. Rooms are very large and comfortable. There is a sprawling lawn area with huge and ancient trees like rubber tree, jasmine trees, banyan trees, night jasmine trees etc... There are many peacocks in the premises. Guests can see the take off and landing of all flights from the airport. However, since it is a huge hotel, maintenance needs to be looked into a bit. Otherwise it is an excellent choice.

A very poor hotel, the only reason I booked it was how close this hotel was to the airport, it was showing as a 5 Star hotel. I must say this is the most horrible experience of me staying in a hotel. Rooms were filthy broken floors, no lights in the bathroom and the phone didn't work. The reception staff couldn't care less. They gave us a couple of keys to select the room ourselves but the rooms we checked were very poorly maintained. The way they book you in is like stuck in the 80' s. The restaurant has a selection of food items but when you ask for a specific meal you'll be informed that they can't get that made as they have staffing issues. Water in the shower tasted salty, very poorly maintained swimming pool and other facilities. Avoid staying at this horribly maintained property.
