Horrible service, and we are absolutely disappointed. I will never recommend it to any family and friend. First, the owner didn’t inform the staff about our arrival, which made the entire experience unacceptable. As per MakeMyTrip, it was an all inclusive meal package and, the hotel owner didn’t inform the chef and gave him leave for the day. I would really like to take a moment and appreciate the chef- Ashish, as he, inspite of being on his leave came to the hotel in the evening and prepared a delicious dinner for us. Even, the receptionist- Mohan, was a good human being and helped us as much as he could. I will applaud both of them for their hardworking spirit and hospitality. Though a big thumbs down to the owner of the property and even MMT for not making sure with the hotel if they are well informed about the arrival of guests. This was the first time we made a prepaid hotel booking through MMT and shall never ever again do so in future or recommend anyone to do.

All rooms have a lake-facing view. It is right on the highway that goes to Kainchi Dham through Bhimtal. However to reach the hotel there is a very steep road (about 100 meters), you need to be careful when driving up or down that narrow road. Parking is available for 4-5 cars, but it can be tricky for larger SUVs/sedans. Be aware that most of the boating activities, restaurants, Bhimeshwar temple are on the opposite side of lake. So you either need to drive to the other side OR walk around 2-3 km to reach there. If you want to have everything within walking distance, I suggest booking a hotel on the other side of lake. Food and service are good in this hotel. Food is reasonably priced also. I think there should be more staff though, because there was only one guy doing everything (cooking, housekeeping, bell-boy etc.), and I felt bad about that guy running around the entire day. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bedsheets & towels were a little dirty though.
