We we're cheated. There is no such hotel in the area provided by the OYO App. Even the locals vouched that there is no such hotel in the name of "Hotel Palace Pahalgam" in that locality. We tried to reach the hotel through the numbers provided by WhatsApp and E-mail. Two of the we're invalid and the person who answered the third number told that that was his personal number and not of any hotel and further informed that these kind of frauds are rampant nowadays and people are unknowingly duped by unscrupulous fraudsters now and then when they try to book hotels online. We tried to reach out to the customer care executives more than seven to eight times but to avail. The customer care executives kept us waiting in order to get us connected to the hotel directly and after keeping the call on hold for 10 to 15 minutes got the call disconnected surreptitiously. I even tried to register my complaint and get my money refunded through e-mail but to no avail or solution from OYO. I am thoroughly disheartened by this kind of (non) response from OYO. Interestingly, another person whom we met in another hotel told that he had experienced similar when he booked a hotel in another place through OYO. My advice to everyone not to book this hotel and to avoid the OYO App for booking hotels.

Bad experience we ever had. From the beginning itself from the reception we need to bargain for good room rent.. And finalised for ₹2000. Room was so pathetic and even ₹100 is not worth for this kind of facilities. We accidentally chose this room because we reached the location late and seems good while checking online.. And also other hotel rooms are unavailable. Room doesn’t have heaters at all.. We don’t know why they are not providing heaters in a place like this. Only they can do is to provide a temporary one for just one hour. And it is not enough to heat a room.. They will knock the door frequently and irritatingly to inform something since the land phone there is dead. One guy told us that they can provide bed heater… After sometime another guy came and checked the bed and said that this bed is not appropriate for a bed heater… Bathrooms are clean.. But there is no hand shower. The placed a mug beneath the tap. There is no toiletries at all… no kettle.. Just a untidy jug and some some water in it and two glasses next to it. They will cutoff the power to the room after sometime. No hot water supply at all. If you want to enjoy your trip please book your rooms somewhere else with this rate which is providing better stay..

Stayed here one night as part of tour package. They charged me for 3 star hotel. Told me room is booked in Tourist Palace and on reaching there they told room is in New Tourist Palace. They mentioned it is also 3 star. But look at the photos and see for yourself. Not properly clean rooms. No proper restaurant. However the staff was friendly and the view from room was good.

This was the most unhygienic hotel i ever stayed. I was looking for a booking in hotel tourist palace but I was told this hotel is booked. Recently they have acquired and renovated a new property, called as "Hotel New tourist palace". I trusted and confirmed my booking. I paid 3000 rs per day including breakfast and dinner. The spread for breakfast was only boiled egg, bread/butter and upma. While the spread in dinner was chicken, paneer, dal, roti and rice. The food was pathetic and was served in the varanda. The dishes used were also not clean. The hotel room was very small and the carpet was not cleaned since ages. The room was stinking and blankets provided were not cleaned. Also I noticed most guests in this hotels are local youngsters who party here.So it's more like a boys college hostel and no peace. And beware of the staff who handle the luggage, some of my items went missing like original mobile charger and other items. Book this hotel at your own risk.
