Hotel is actually out of the main market by 2 km approx. Pros Good staff behaviour Nice food Garden in front of hotel with mountain view Cons No heater is available in freezing cold of 0 degree. Even after repeated follow they not even manage. Issue is that if they can't manage they should be transparent. Hotel management should take care of that as it is a major issue, only heating bed is there but heating is not even. Rooms are very old comparing with hotel price it is not justified. Hot water is available from 7pm to 10am,seems if you need it in the afternoon you need to use freezing cold water that seems really awkward. Overall I would say it is a overpriced hotel. Other hotels are also available nearby.

Absolute nightmarish stay in in Hotel Premier Pahelgam. They are rated as a three star property but in realty they are nothing more than a mere home stay! To begin with, their location is in the Pahelgam village and the main town/market is about 2KM. they don't have any proper entrance, a small alley full of horse dung and very uneven stoney path to their hotel is the only access! This is still bearable but then comes the real shocks! They don't have 24/7 running hot water, they think "guests don't stay in the room and are out for sightseeing from 10 AM to 8PM " so they provide hot water only during 8PM to 10 AM! They don't have option for any room heater either (free or on rent!) even on near zero degree temp! The only heating element is an electric blanket which does not even cover the full bed. They "upgraded" us to a big room on the 2nd floor but alas that upgraded room does not even have all bulbs glowing, all power sockets working, all the doors and windows are loose, bolts dont fit, they even had to chip towel at the bottom of the gallery door to prevent cold air coming in! They dont have any rack for your luggage nor they have a single mirror in the room! They had generator but that does not start by its own, you have call the reception a couple of time ( and if they are not busy) then it will start! They don't allow eating in the room ( which they allowed for us after having a rough discussion and MMT tour manager intervention though). Food taste is average at best, but they did allow discounts while we did not wish to take their breakfast . In all never ever ever book the hotel. I feel bad for the staffs there as they were really good an willing to help but they were bound by their stupid management rules. Avoid at any cost. PS. They have a small garden, and they claim they have a good view of the mountains from room. I believe that "view" is all pervasive, it is available from any house around it. Don't fall for the view!!!

I stayed at Premier hotel in Pahalgam. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed, staff was very good and helpful. Breakfast was made to order. Lunch and dinner were very good. I would recommend this hotel highly.
