I wanted to give this 3.5 as 3 is too low and 4 too high! Nice location, clean warm rooms. Down side, two of the young ladies on the front desk are just rude, no warmth in their greeting, in fact no greeting. However…the bar and breakfast staff are lovely! Smiles and ready for a chat. Weird, sort your front of house!

The room is a great size but no lounge, no swimming pool. The customer service is okay but not amazing. As it is our wedding anniversary, none things special set in place. Welcome back,Titanium Elite Bonvoy membership. The location is not great as all the tourists' places are 25 minutes walk away.

Really nice hotel in walking distances to the old city of Riga. The hotel room was clean and modern. The staff is a bit cold, but at other locations at well. So it seams like that is the Latvian way. A couple of vegan milk options for breakfast, but not a lot more to eat. Wouldn’t recommend breakfast here, even for normal eaters

🤔Does not fulfill my requirements of a 4⭐️ hotel. Rooms are lousy cold, after multiple complaints, we were offered additional heaters. hmm. 2 out of 5 evenings restaurant/ bar were not accessible due to private function...imagine the huge seating area in front of bar the mgmt. wasn't able to separate a few tables? Other Marriott's handle such challenges way more professional. Restaurant/ breakfast time: friendly shy staff, 50% with little to no English skills. And with reduced organisational skills. 3 of 8 orders went south, either wrong item or incomplete. and appetizers of course we don't expect ahead of main course, do we? Sometimes I had the impression of a trainee camp, just without supervisor. Positive note: reception staff is skilled, willing and helpful. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Ergo, rather an event hotel for local customers than business guests? just let me know so I wouldn't waste a thought on it any more😕
