To anyone deciding if they want to stay at the Adahan DeCamondo Pera Hotel, please consider. This was by far the best Marriott property that we have stayed at. I was very impressed by how the whole hotel staff treated the guests. The front desk reception team Emin, Gokhan, Karberk and Berk were extremely professional and kept making sure we were happy with our stay. Greeting us every time we walked through the door. Very much gentleman. We certainly enjoyed the complimentary Tea Time / Cookies everyday. I can’t recall the ladies name who took care of tea time on the 25th but she was very professional and made sure we were happy. Another person we’d like to point out is Emel from guest relations. She greeted us every morning with a smile and suggested us about things to do in Istanbul and surrounding areas. She truly cares about the guests. Very nice lady. And, every morning we had a delicious Turkish breakfast at hotel restaurant Béatrice. The restaurant staff Eren, Aram, Zeki and Hakan were always welcoming and professional. They always made sure we were taken care of with delicious food and Turkish coffee, tea and juice. Even suggested a few Turkish breakfast items we tried for the first time which were delicious. Housekeeping was amazing! Everyday when we came back from our adventures, it was always nice to come into our room with a fresh room. The hotel is also conveniently located which we liked. Because of the hotels wonderful employees and hospitality, we will certainly make this hotel to stay at when we are in Istanbul. Thank you guys for such a lovely stay! I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. Overall an amazing experience. Pera is an amazing, vibrant and safe area for tourists and there are hundreds of restaurants and shops right next to the hotel so you don’t have to ever walk far. General street noise wasn’t a huge issue but there was construction going on right next door so there was a lot of drilling and hammering during the day and unfortunately the windows are older and not noise-proof. There was only music coming from the restaurant next door on two occasions and it wasn’t too bad and stopped by 1am. The hotel is a beautifully decorated historic building. There are many lounge rooms on the main floor and a nice vintage bar. The rooftop restaurant has great views and the food is pretty good. I did wish there were more options though. The entrances from the street require you to go up a steep flight of stairs into the lobby but the staff always help you with bags or luggage. I stayed in the Deluxe King room and it was really well decorated, extremely clean and spacious. The bathroom was large and nicely designed. Loved the large shower with the bench. Relatively comfortable bed and room had all needed amenities. Very little noise heard from other guests. My only complaints with the room are that there was no full size mirror despite lots of room for one and the air conditioner was not really spreading the cool air around the whole room. The hospitality was amazing. All the staff were friendly and attentive. Calls were always answered by reception and they took care of everything immediately. Room service was quick and well presented. My biggest points of dissatisfaction was the the hotel hallways, reception area and indoor portion of restaurant were extremely hot and humid. There didn’t seem to be any air conditioning. There is only one small elevator that fits maybe 2 people and is very slow. And the hotel pumps out a VERY strong fragrance in all lobby areas and hallways that is really overwhelming like a strong men’s cologne so if you are sensitive to scents this might be a problem. Overall this is a beautiful hotel with impressive design and an amazing location.

Loved the hotel and it’s location. It’s in the middle of lot of cafes restaurants and bars. The front desk staff are amazing, very helpful and always there for you. Rooms are amazing don’t worry if u don’t have the suits the regular rooms are bigger :) Breakfast place is a rooftop bar and from that you can see Blue mosque, Galata tower and Hagia Sophia. A rates picture opportunity.

We had such a great experience at this hotel all the way from check in till check out. The staff at this hotel are exceptional. Samet checked us in and welcomed us, gave us a tour of our room, brought up our luggage. Provided us local recommendations and went above and beyond to make sure we had a goos experience. It was a pleasure having met Samet. When we visit Istanbul in the future we will definitely be staying at this hotel.

Clothes from previous guests left in the wardrobe, extremely loud music in the bedroom until 3am from parties on the roof and in the streets. Every day. Bright light outside the bedroom with nothing to block it. Woken up at 7am by a strange device buzzing loudly on the wall. Earplugs unavailable. Most staff do not speak English. Instead of a refund - charged extra for the reduced stay. Avoid at all costs, the hotel is a pathetic joke, worth demolishing and forgetting forever.
