Good hotel when your flight is canceled last minute. Why : good shower and bed and very quiet. The room could be cleaner. The bus stop is next to the hotel and 5min away from the airport. The transport is free 👍🏼

Great location right on the 50 line which runs from airport to bus station. Rooms are nice. Staff is very friendly and very helpful.

Our group was stranded in Basel due to UK wide air traffic control issues which resulted in all flights being cancelled. As a result we were unable to get a replacement flight until 6 days later, so easyJet was able to put us up in the Airport Hotel Basel for the interim period. The staff at reception were extremely helpful on the evening we arrived (shout-out to them) and made it so the cost would be covered directly by easyJet and not us. In the days after it felt like the hotel and restaurant staff treated us like second class citizens despite the fact that our stay was being paid for. Bar 2 meals they proceeded to give us poor quality chips and burgers/breaded chicken for lunch and dinner and were at times rude. The hotel restaurant appears to make nice food so I'm not sure why they served us such rubbish. Breakfast was pretty good so no complaints there. There was one particularly rude barman which just made us feel uncomfortable

One night stay after cancelled flight, comfortable bed, staff sometimes helpful sometimes rude and ignorant, when we went to get some food we was told that we was to late for the 6 o'clock sitting and had to wait till 9 o'clock as the chief couldn't cope with the amount of people, when we did get in we where herded to the back separated from all other guests and after them trying to give us left over chicken and rice from lunch we end up having disgusting spaghetti and meatballs (no choice) and they get 30 Swiss franc's for lunch and 30 Swiss franc's for dinner off the airline for that. Daylight robbery.

My flight was canceled and I received a two night accommodation in this hotel. It was genuinely the best hotel experience I have ever had. The hotel provided us with meals and bus tickets. The staff was incredible, they were so kind, understanding and generous! Dominic at the front desk went above and beyond to help us out, and the bartender Nashir was so friendly and kind to us.
