I am in Basel for business frequently. I stayed here for 23 nights in a studio room. The room was spacious enough to store my clothing, food, etc. It was nice that the windows opened to get fresh air. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The laundry facilities worked well. The fitness center is small and dark but it provided what I needed at the time. The location is great. Very close to restaurants and all the shopping (food and clothing) I needed during my extended stay. It’s just a few minutes walk to a few tram stops. And very close to the Christmas markets. I would definitely stay at an Adagio again.

Stayed 3 nights. Room was spacious and warm with everything you need for making light meals. Quiet location, 2 minute walk from tram. Supermarket 2 minute walk and easy to get into the Old Town. Friendly staff. Would stay again if in Basel.

The location is very handy for bus and tram links, and is a short walk to the city centre. Check-in was simple and friendly, and the apartment was comfortable and well appointed. Would definitely stay again.

Room was decent size, clean, tub with shower, kitchenette with most equipment, notably no toaster. Breakfast offered for 21cf pp, fitness center, laundry (free washer, pay dryer). Quiet location with nearby stores, restaurants and tram stops, but you'll need to take a tram or walk across the river to the old town and tourist sites. For those with back issues, the bed is a sofabed so probably not suitable for you.

I have had several long stays at this property ranging from 2 weeks upto a month. WiFi is great. Front Desk is very helpful. Most of all your needs are already catered, and you won't require much assistance. Rooms are clean and well-appointed. The kitchen had the basic pots and pans for those inclined to make a meal in the evenings. The mattress is an area which can be improved as all the rooms I've occupied have the mattress sagging in the middle. For those who drive, parking is in the basement. You won't require to take the car out for city-side travel. The Basel card that you get through the hotel is great for public transport. The breakfast spread is just sufficient. It could help if the menu is changed often. I have spent a month seeing the exact same stuff. It gets boring after a while. So all in all, a fantastic, peaceful place in the city center. Have loved it, still loving it on my fourth long stay.
