We were sold a dream. Please see photo one of what was advertised on booking.com , and please see the one underneath we arrived to bring described as ‘ luxury’ . This is far from LUXURY. Disgusting furniture you would see at a care home. A hike to get up to your apartment as no elevators. Not disability friendly. Rude staff on reception with agression and very unclassy approach. Her name with Miriam. We would never come back here again. Also covered in bites , most likely bed Bugs.

Nice complex, well maintained, although a bit dated. Beautiful views from the terraces, overlooking the well kept gardens and pools. Oddly all areas must be accessed through a dark parking garage. You also better be fit, because there are literally tons of stairs that cannot be avoided. Even the lifts are located between stair cases, so they only help a bit. If you have to lug kids, baggage or groceries, you will get a work out. Do not book here if you have any mobility impairments or health conditions that make it difficult for you to climb stairs. We are in our late 60's and quite fit, but averaging 15 flights of stairs daily (having to take our little dog for 3 walks a day) has taken its toll. The complex is advertised as pet friendly and there are dogs here, but all grounds have big warning signs prohibiting dogs. So going down and out to the street with your pet is pretty much your only option (40 stairs in our case). The neighbourhood has great restaurants right outside and grocery stores are within fairly easy walking distance, but going to the Marina or the beach is about 2.5 km away with uphill stretches both ways, and is best done by taxi or a car. Local bus service is infrequent, so taxis are a preferred option, for 5-7 euros to get you to the centre. Overall, we prefer Marbella or Benalmadena for a more interesting, diversified and accessible experience.

Just returned from a lovely stay at the Aloha Gardens, a lovely apartment, very clean and well maintained. The gardens are beautiful and so well kept. Not far in a taxi to Puerto Banus and Marbella, and the taxi fares are very reasonable. The only negative I feel I should make was the front reception staff who were not very helpful or accommodating when we arrived earlier than the 4pm check in time. They seemed more interested in selling us an upgrade to a bigger apartment that was conveniently available where ours wasn’t. This did negatively affect our 1st impression of our holiday, however this thankfully got better each day as the apartment and pools there were so nice. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing stay at Aloha Gardens! We were a group of six and hired a three bedroom apartment for a Hen Do, everything about our stay was great and we would definitely recommend. Chris, Miriam and the team couldn't have been more helpful both beforehand in answering my numerous questions on email and during our stay. The apartment was clean, spacious and well presented. It was great to have beach towels included so that we did not have to pack these. For me, one of the highlights of Aloha Gardens is how well kept the communal areas were including the gardens and pool and very pretty too. The main pool is lovely with plenty of sun loungers and perfect for relaxing during the day. Aloha Gardens is in walking distance to a well stocked supermarket and there are options for restaurants within the complex, we ate at El Jardin a couple of times, which was lovely and even had takeaway coffee from there in a morning! Thank you to Miriam for going above and beyond in trying to help reunite my purse that I left behind!
