I wish that whomever took all the photos that appear online for this place could take some of me for my dating profile because you've managed to make this aged structure look great! Pros: All the employees I chatted with were helpful, friendly, and spoke English making interactions and requests for information easy. The rooms were clean upon arrival, the bed was remade daily, and fresh towels were provided. The hotel is located in an easy to get to location from airport or train and is a short walk to all the best sites of the city. It always felt safe and a free breakfast was provided in the morning. Cons: The hotel is no where near as glamorous as it looks online. The furniture in the room is old. The wall sconces were all akimbo when I arrived. The bathroom is small. The sink dripped continuously, barely had any water pressure when on, was not aligned properly on the counter top, and had a broken stopper. The counter was very small leaving little room for toiletries. The shower had no door resulting in the room looking like a Venetian street at high tide after anyone showered. Also, no gym, health center, or pool. Overall, it's a cost effective location to spend your nights when vacationing in Venice. Just don't go into it thinking that this "4 star" hotel is going to be perfect. It has old world charm not new world amenities.

They say that this hotel is 4 stars, more like 2.5. The rooms are sparsely accommodated. One chair and no tables or flat surfaces available. Our shower was awkward and the towel rack was leaning so the towels slid off. The beds were hard, like sleeping on a board. There was no kettle in the room. No hooks in the bathroom. Only an all body wash in the shower, no lotion or conditioner. The breakfast was minimal. The staff was very nice and helpful. It's very close to the train station and restaurants.

The rooms are quite rough, fairly clean but not perfect. Our room was very hot and we were unable to turn the heat fully off. It was quite at night even though it was closer to the train station. The staff is vary friendly and accommodating holding our bags before and after our stay, as well as delivering them to our room. The breakfast had both north american and European options. Everything was kept well stocked and warm(or cold) and all good quality.
