The hotel is very attractive from a price point and clean enough. The shop is right next door and Grunerlokka right on the doorstep. However be mindful that at arrival your duvet and pillow don’t have the covers on them (you need to put the bedding on them yourself) and then at checkout take them downstairs yourself. Under the bed was also not vacuumed.

The other reviews capture the most of it. This place is a bit out of the way from a lot of the city sights on foot. Fortunately, when you don't have heavy luggage to carry, you can use the plethora of scooters in Oslo to get around quickly. I finally got there and the room check in just involves typing in your info at a booth and a card is printed out. The receptionist only helped with a technical malfunction there, and all the hotel info is given once you enter the room via scanning a QR code. Double room was very clean, all linens included although you need to make the bed yourself. As others said, the shower is not separated from the bathroom, so if sharing the room with someone, that could be an issue. Only hand soap, body wash, and toilet paper included on the toiletry front. Some of the other tenants were noisy during the day and at night. It was Saturday night, so one room had a noticable party going on that included chanting and stomping, which I'm sure the people below did not appreciate. But they settled down when asked so not a big issue. There was also definitely a slight smell of smoke in the hallways despite the clear no smoking signs. Overall, I would say this a decent hotel experience, although definitely barebones and not exactly a steal in terms of price.
