Very nice hotel with great location, friendly service and nice rooms. Breakfast is very good, with a big choice of food for every taste, both cold and hot. Kids also have special treats there :) I personally really appreciated warm floor in the bathroom and water cooker in the room with a choice of tea bags and instant coffee.

The property is nicer than we were expecting... Save for the thin walls. Construction echoes through the ENTIRE building during the days and started around 8 today. Fine I guess for helping us get out of bed and shake off the jetlag. Breakfast here is INCREDIBLE and what a value! We were able to skip a lunch since we were still full from the huge assortment of items. From traditional English to local favorites... Sure to please. Thx to Thon Astoria! Would highly recommend a stay here if in Oslo for a few days.

For the price I paid, this was unbelievable value. Breakfast was great and full of varied options. Room was perfect for a 3 night stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for everything on central oslo. You won't find a better value hotel in the centre of a city

Great location - you can easily walk to all sights in Oslo center. Super close to Opera, train & bus station. Lots of restaurants and shopping around. Our room was small (especially shower), but clean and had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast is super good! Lots of variety, more hot food options than in most hotels, good choice of local specialities (herring, kaviar, shrimp salad), smoothies, healthy shots, good coffee! Also complimentary coffee/ tea/ pastries at hotel lobby - super nice! Special thanks to very friendly and helpful staff members! They offered us free earlier check-in and later check-out!

This hotel is located in an amazing location. There is an amazing breakfast with lots of choices for everyone. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed using the provided fan. The only negative of this location is the incredibly small bathroom. The compact space was so tight that you are literally unable to sit on the toilet without hitting your legs on the sink.
