The hotel is clean and neatly presented. The location is great and reception staff are always availiable to help. Close to public transport, Christmas markets, the harbour and restaurants. Breakfast was included with our room and had a large and delicious selection of hot and cold foods. It is served a bit later than other hotels. Worth noting if you have kids that are early risers, with an 8am start for breakfast. Unfortunately our stay was tainted by an extremly hot room. Although it was -6 outside our room temp was a very humid 26 degrees. We were sweating and uncomfortable. We had asked for assistance a couple of times when we first arrived and again on our second night and told to adjust the thermostat. Unfortunatly it wasn't until our last night that a staff member came to check it and discovered it was infact broken. We were offered a fan but it was still incredibly stuffy. We spent most the time with the door open to the hall as it was considerably cooler out there, which didn't feel very private. Our room also wasn't made up on our last day even though we left a sign out asking for it to be made up. We had to go to reception to collect fresh towels and mugs. Whilst I enjoyed my stay and would reccomend the hotel, I think we got a bit unlucky with some of these issues.

Room was so hot I could not sleep - either night I was there. No A/C in hotel. Heat in bathroom was at full blast with no way to turn it off. All they could do was provide a table fan which didn’t do much. Bed covers are duvets made for trolls, way too small for anybody over 5’. And to top it off they charged the wrong credit card. I should have told them to use a different card at check-in - which I had done. Not worth the fight because I will never be back. Overall appearance and feel of a 2 or 3 star hotel. Definitely not 4 stars!

Beautiful room, fresh delicious breakfast, great location, superior customer service by Elizabeth, from the front desk. Will come again when visiting Oslo.

It wasn’t the worst experience but they do need to put in some work in the hotel.. It was very hot outside and AC was not working in our room. Our first night was terribly hot. They did change our room and AC was good there. Room wasn’t cleaned very well. My room and my daughter’s room both had water issues but it was only for a short time. We were a group of 40 + and quite a few were very very hot in their rooms. Two good things, breakfast is awesome and so is the location.
