My fiancee and I had a great time. The hotel is super quaint and cute. The fireplace was super sweet and the parking spots weren't far.

I’m writing this review because I know how helpful they are in making decisions. After seeing the hotel we decided not to stay. The rooms are very small. I don’t think the hotel looks anything like the pictures. I think it would be ok if they would maintain it better. The lady at the front desk was nice and helpful but I would suggest a good paint job, freshen up the place and rooms. It just looks run down.

Entry door lock is very hard to lock/unlock. TV (too small for the room) is mounted crookedly on a sheet of plywood with a power strip and wires hanging. Porch light for a light fixture inside the room. Only serviced every other day but only provide one day’s worth of coffee and towels. Garbage truck emptied a dumpster literally right outside our room (117) at 6:30AM Friday morning. Parking is terrible! I had to park 1000’ away on the road on our third night when we returned before 11. Most of the spots are very narrow and not much maneuvering room at all. We checked out early due to being unhappy. Definitely not worth almost $1000 for four nights. Room needs a complete renovation.

We enjoyed our stay at Arbor Inn. It’s about a mile to Fisherman’s Wharf so it is a reasonable walk (don’t eat or drink too much as it’s a bit of a climb on the return)! There is some road noise with windows open but then you can hear the sea lions barking! We appreciated the free parking, especially after paying for valet parking in SF! A good mom and pop style motel near all the action.
