Bed was comfortable and TV was nice. Room was very clean. After booking with them, we were then told that the pool and spa was closed indefinitely, they don’t have room service, air conditioning and don’t serve any kind of breakfast Shower in my opinion didn’t have great water pressure. Front office looked to be ran by a very young man who really didn’t have anything to say when we mentioned the email received after booking all the negatives they have.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The only complaint is that they're a little outdated and there were burns in the blankets The staff are very friendly and this Inn is a great value, especially with the location in mind. It's basically next door to all the things you'd wanna see in Monterey, Dennis the Mennis Park, Fisherman's Wharf, Alvarado St., and much more.

Clean, safe, quiet, well-appointed, and close to downtown Monterey. Staff is extremely friendly, respectful, and helpful. A bit pricey for a motel. I don’t understand the bad reviews. Friends of mine stayed here too and told me about this motel. Don’t listen to the bad reviews. You’re not getting luxury but you are getting a safe and clean space.

Ok,... I'm giving you the real deal because it's so frustrating to me when people rate hotels just to be kind to the owners. This place is super run down. The curtains are in need of replacing. Also note the pool is closed and the hearers do not work. You will need to ask for a portable heater, which work well. With all that being said, the beds are comfy, the shower is hot and there coffee and a coffee maker in the room. The hotel is located across the street from a beautiful walking path which was a huge bonus. The redeeming factor is that the owners live on sight and are super helpful and kind. So if you just need a quick place to sleep you will be fine here, but just know it's a step sideways from a motel six.
