Excellent hotel with hot springs. My favourite hotel of the 5 we stayed in in Costa Rica. Great vegan options at breakfast and lunch/dinner (vegan cheese for pizzas would be even better though!). Rooms are little bungalows and are clean, well appointed and private. We saw lots of wildlife from our terrace and the hotel complex. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. Slightly show service at the great happy hour but it did get busy. Location is good if you have a car /tour group transport but it's miles out of town if not. The view from breakfast is amazing! Really nice effort made with Christmas decorations as well.

This was our 1st hotel of the trip and while it had a really great view and rooms the food was really disappointing. Good: The rooms were nice and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the view from our room and all the privacy. I mentioned it was our 20th anniversary and they left us a really sweet treat in our room. We appreciated that there were people to pick you up at your room to drive you to where you needed to go. The pool was quite nice and we loved the hot tub. Bad: The whole resort is really big and we never had the energy to even visit the hot spring, which I was the most excited for. The food was really disappointing, especially the breakfast. Very little of the food at breakfast was made fresh, they should probably have less options and more quality.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff were amazing, the property was lovely, the hot springs were divine! The food is also scrumptious. Breakfast is a very hearty affair that will allow you to miss lunch if you want. We had a lovely fine dining experience in the restaurant one evening and greatly enjoyed the sushi while sipping drinks in the hot springs. Lots of opportunities to view wildlife. We loved how private our little Cabana was and the maid service was fantastic. There were many amenities including a spa in several restaurants. The hotel offers shuttle service between all the places on property. There was also parking very close to our room.

Extremely peaceful location with excellent views of volcano (when clouds aren't around). The resort villas are private. The services (restaurants, pools, laundry, spa, etc) available are excellent with friendly staff. In particular, the spa was along a private section of the hot spring river, which had the relaxing sound of water, which was an added bonus not many spas have.

Great location, the view from the restaurant and the pool, on a clear day, is beautiful. The hotel grounds are very good, each room is almost like a small house, very spacious, very comfortable. The access to your own small garden is also very nice. It is a bit of a walk around the hotel area if you don't have a car available (like us). I only had 2 issues here: the food was not always the greatest, however this really depends on what you order as the steak sandwich was delicious. And perhaps they could embrace the nature of the area a bit more, potentially with more acess to the river/nature hides near the ponds would have been nice to have.
