Phenomenal place, one of the best, if not the best hotel we have been to. The “cabins” (the word doesn’t usually convey this kind of luxurious space) are private and in nature. Prepare to abandon your sightseeing plans and spend the days in your private hot tub looking at toucans. We were told a sloth usually sits in a tree just hanging over our cabin but we found it steps away on the jungle trail just next to the property. A few pools including a pool bar (meaning you sit in the water when getting a drink), a few restaurants serving a mix of local and global foods which was very tasty and well made (I recommend the grill-your-own-food experience). The entire property was very well maintained, exceptionally clean and aesthetically pleasing. The service is world-class. Highly recommend especially for couples.

Absolutely fantastic experience! One of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The staff was always there, happy to help, answer any questions, and make sure our stay was the best possible! The property is gorgeous and spotlessly clean. We were so comfortable in our room - slept so well, loved the private terrace and jacuzzi, and the shower looking out onto the rainforest was so cool! The food was all delicious and we also loved the heated pool with swim-up bar. Bravo to the barmen for the delicious and creative cocktails! I highly, highly recommend and I hope we can come back very soon!

This was the most amazing resort/hotel I have ever stayed at. The attention to detail, the beauty of the physical surroundings, the and kindness and attentiveness of the staff was TOP NOTCH. We could not have appreciated them more! Would 100% recommend Amor Arenal to anyone planning a trip to the volcanic region in Costa Rica...you will not regret it!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was incredible. An amazing room centered in a jungle with fantastic views. The hot tub on the balcony was perfect. The best part was the friendly staff. Our intersections were kind and heartfelt and they were all informative. Jorgebeth had the best recommendations, Carlos was fantastic at sharing information about the hotel, all of the restaurant staff were on it. Our massage was peaceful and had amazing views, highly recommend. Crystal was also so knowledgeable and pointed out all the wild animals on the property. We can’t say enough nice things about our stay!
