Great hotel location also this property is very clean. My husband and I had a room facing the ocean which was very lovely. Also rhe front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I was surprised to find out we had free breakfast included which was delicious.

has for me someone with a disability i had a 45 inch long (mini scooter)and it didn't fit straight in the elevator i had a trick to go in but only i can use it a time......and if you plan on staying out late remind the front desk to leave the side accessible door unlocked. besides that room /washroom was good i can get into the washroom with my scooter shower walk in with bench and holding bars . service was great breakfast was alright because was the same thing everyday and front desk was top!

Really great authentic Art Deco hotel with wonderful original, period correct architecture detail. From the terrazzo floors, concrete accents and charm of this A+ location, The Avalon will charm you. This is a fantastic setting in the heart of South Beach. Daily breakfast is a nice touch, and the staff is all very friendly and helpful. Camilo at the front desk is the best dressed, most debonair gentleman who check us in and out and made sure we had everything the needed. Rooms are adequate, on the small side, and have almost no noise insulation between rooms or floors. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs or download a good white noise app before your stay. That is really the only negative. Close to Brightline Train, Miami Airport and the beach is across the street. Highly recommend overall!

We will be at this hotel for 5 days, and I'm ecstatic! Its the 2nd day here, and I am continually blown away by this experience: location, staff AND service! Oceanfront room with breakfast included, iconic Havana Oldsmobile parked out front, staff provides everything that you couldn't bring for your perfect beach experience: towels, chairs and even an UMBRELLA! Also amazing drinks and food in the evening- this the best beach vacation ever. Julio at the front desk started it all for us, but actually all the staff are amazing. Have to give my husband 5 stars also for booking this hotel- I would go to more ATM away games if this is what was in store :)
