My partner and I fully enjoyed our experience at the Axel hotel. The staff (Marlon and Martin) were extremely friendly and made the experience even better. The room was quite spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The pool was really nice, and the location is close to everything! The building is on the older side but not terrible. We were a bit disappointed with the Continental Breakfast as food options were rather limited. Overall would stay again!

Absolutely loved the place!!!! The rooms were spacious and really great, the staff (Marlon & Martin I Believe?) were very very helpful and nice to us. The room is just a short walk from the beach and they provide you w beach chairs. One of the highlights for us was definitely the pool, it's big and almost always empty so we had a blast there. The breakfast is simple, but it's free so we're not complaining. Overall 100/100, highly recommended for all visiting South beach.

Excellent location. It's very close to South Beach, and the swimming pool in the hotel was lovely. The staff were all friendly, and we had a nice two-night stay. But we only got half of the $100 deposit back. I don't know why. Do you tell the hotel the details? We never drank anything in the fridge or had breakfast.

This is just a place you want to stay! No matter if you are LGBT+ (as I am) or not you will be welcomed so warmly. The staff is so friendly and nice. Do not hesitate and book this place. It has everything you need and it is in the middle of everything you need around. I have thank especially to lovely Alex, friendly Danny and funny Allen for making my stay awesome. But also the others deserve an aplause for the service they provide.

The location is great, services are also good. But there is a deposit to pay at the hotel (it would be good if they precise the amount when booking) even it is refunded 1 to 3 days after the check out. The room is OK but the interior needs to be more modernised, especially for the price, also you can hear the noises in the corridor. The breakfast is great though and the art deco. I did not swim as the pool seems not very well maintained / clean but it's OK. The hotel is very well located, just few min away from Espanola way, Lincoln road, Washington avenue.
