This is a tough one because on one hand I understand this is just a place to sleep but I've stayed at a dozen different places in Banff and this one only has one thing going for it. Location. The rooms, at least the one we stayed in were tiny the bathrooms was a postage stamp. So crammed I could not close the door without moving the waste bin. The beds were very firm which is hard on my back. The hotel was clean but did not provide any extras like coffee or cereal. The hotel restaurant was shut down over half our stay and what constitutes as a bar was nothing more than a counter with some beer taps. For 210$ a night I felt like the only real benefit was underground parking and the fact I could easily walk downtown. No real vibe to it.

Been here many times and always enjoyed it. Best hotel breakfast in Banff with hot items as well as cold. Would've come again in July 2024 but didn't have a room available.

Clean, really good location with respect to restaurants and shops. Heated underground parking if your vehicle height is that of a car or smaller suv otherwise oversize parking outdoors. Hot tub is good and kind of a rustic place which is great for a ski weekend.

The room was nice and the location was good, but it was hard to relax because the soundproofing is pretty bad. I was woken up several times by people walking down the halls and talking. When walking to the elevator, I could clearly hear the conversations people were having when I passed their rooms. The rooms also surround the atrium, and one evening there was a group of kids in there being loud. This went on for a couple hours.

What I liked: the room was neat and clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. A great shower. the front counter staff were lovely and helpful. a great location - right up the road from all the restaurants and shops, and the shuttle bus pulls right near the hotel. What I didn't like: our room was right near the ice machine out in the corridor, so it kept us awake with people filling up their ice buckets until late. The air conditioner in the room sounded like a plane taking off every time it kicked in. Avoid the breakfast, it was woeful.
