What a hidden gem, well worth the short taxi ride. Mid range prices but fine dining food and service. The food was incredible and so reasonably price considering the quality. Each dish we had was carefully considered, the flavours perfectly balanced. The wine and cocktail selection was great along with the view to the mountains. This was all bought together by the amazing waitstaff, Jessica our server knew every dish so well and it was only later in the meal when we complemented her on her knowledge that she let us know that she is actually a chef. After a very disappointing meal in the main township the night before, the staff and amazing food was so welcome. Thank you team 🙏

I had a king suite room. As a housekeeper myself I notice the little things, and the larger things stick out even bigger. As me and my Boyfriend first looked around the room I noticed these things. 1 There were no robes ( we had met a few people later on who said they just had them in the closets). 2 The coffee mugs still had rings from previous guests 3 A sweater tucked into the right side of the mattress 4 There was previous stains on the sheets and pillow cases, one of them had a rip in it as well (should go into a reclaim bin in laundry) 5 The sheets on the bed were not for the correct bed. Flat instead of fitted, and the duvet was a queen on a king bed 6 There brown blanket was there but no extra pillow 7 I really felt that the front desk lady who checked us in was wonderful! She spoke with us twice and was lovely. But there was a front desk person who was not very approachable, he was quite rude to He served us as we were checking out. The positives were : The bistro was great. Had a great waitress! We had dinner there, it was really good. Hot tub was great, beautiful view. The also have a hammock I sat in to watch the sunset and sunrise. Beautiful spot.

I thought for the price the rooms were great. Clean, organized, beds are soft. It was pretty quiet except for the heat. It’s normal, I just found it a little loud when it came on. The connected restaurant is expensive, good food just pricey. It’s close to the highway but I didn’t hear any traffic noise. The scenery if you’re facing the highway is breathtaking. Can been seen from the restaurant as well. I don’t have animals but others had dogs. It’s a great place to go for pets because you can walk them anywhere outside. I would stay here again for sure, front desk staff were courteous and pleasant. Even when I overheard someone being difficult. The hotel is older but it looks like they are trying to keep up with some newer renovations. Being clean and quiet is most important too me and it was. Cable TV with basic channels, no on demand. It’s adequate but could use updating if you’re the kind of person that watches a lot of TV. Internet is open and speed was good.

We booked a room here, but upon arrival, we found it to be dirty with a malfunctioning heater and old, squeaky beds. The noise from conversations and children running and screaming above us made our stay unbearable. Unfortunately, the management was unprofessional and rude. Even before we could express our concerns, they stated, 'We will not be giving you refunds and will also not accommodate you.' We returned the keys after only lasting two hours. Additionally, the price seemed disproportionately high for the poor quality and service provided.

This place is such a hidden gem! Stunning views, isolated, amazing restaurant, friendly staff, quiet... I can't say enough good things about it! Very affordable also. The best part for me was opening the door to the balcony, seeing the stunning view of the mountains asking with the smell of the bonfire right below us. The most relaxing experience. Highly recommend!
