The rooms are a disaster! They're old, non-renovated and depressing. The floor wasn't cleaned from the previous guests and our feet were dirty within seconds! I was travelling with a one-year-old baby and this was completely intollerable! I rate it 3 stars because the food was good and at least the outdoor facilities were nice and clean. There were activities for everyone and we had a great time but only because we spent our days outside of the rooms and have the ability to enjoy ourselves even in situations like these. The rooms are absolutely not worth the price you pay for staying here! It's great if you're able to just forget about them and continue your vacation.

Went to Batihan for family holiday in August 23 which we booked last minute. 2 families, 4 adults, and 5 children. We originally had 3 triple rooms booked, but on arrival the hotel let us change to a 4 and 5 person family room at no extra cost. Our rooms looked out to the pool area which was nice. Rooms were clean and spacious, but a bit dated. A/C worked well and the room had a fridge. Resort was good, pools for all ages plus kids clubs and play areas for younger children. The water slides only open at specific times (3 times a day), which is a shame. The sun lounger system was terrible.. unless you woke up at 6am and put down a towel, you would be away from the pool. No policing either. Some people left towels on their loungers for hours without using. Food was good. Standard buffet system, but there was always a few things being freshly cooked for each meal. Other options, including desserts, rotated over the days. Pool snack bar was good but the fresh Turkish pizza would only be made at specific times even when the tray was empty. Staff were OK but I've been to other Turkish resorts where the staff went out of their way to help or get to know you. Animation team and events were good but if you look Turkish they tend to walk right past you! House keeping kept forgetting we changed the room to 4 people and only left us 3 towels each day, even though the room had 4 beds... had to request a extra towel each day. These are only minor things and did not spoil our experience.. pool days were great fun and the beach is on the door step, although it's not that big. Small area of sand which is taken up by sun loungers. 15 minutes taxi to Old Town or there is a local bus stop right outside the resort. Hotel has its own spa but we did not use.

This place did not dissapoint. We are just back from a one week stay. Flew into Izmir and the transfer to the hotel was smooth and took about an hour. On arrival the check in was quick and easy. They even offered to take up the cases but am not that old just yet. We had a family room for four / two teenage kids. We had a double and two singles in seperate rooms with bathroom in the middle. The rooms were generous plenty of cupboard space although the floor seemed to take preference for all the clothes... Beds were comfortable albeit a little short for my 6ft4 frame but most holiday hotels are the same. Each room had aircon a little noisey but you get used to it. The shower was powerful luke warm which was welcome as the weather was very hot. The WiFi was decent throughout the hotel and around the pool. I managed to stream a soccer game... Food thougout the day could not be faulted. From breakfast to diner there was a great variety of food on display which was all fresh and tasty. Did not hear a single complaint from the family or any of the guests no upset tummies just nice and full tummies. You even got a night at an a la cart restaurant situated right on the beach. Also available from morning till midnight was the bar. From cocktails to fizzy drinks anyone who likes a drink is catered for. Big fridges stocked with water which could be taken without having to go to the bar. The pools were clean and big enough to enjoy a dip or a spot of waterpolo. There were a few slides a kids pool and the biggest pool of the lot the sea which is right on your doorstep. The staff were super friendly always smiling and willing to help or entertain. We ha e been on many all inclusive holidays with the kids. This is certainly one of the best if not the best...

Just left now and will like to describe some of the bad things about this hotel 1. we bought last minute ticket and when we arrived the room wasn't great ( old fashion room, bathroom very dirty, mouldy ot the walls as well) 2. Food not very good ( we preferred in the last 3 nights and some of the mornings do don't go) - same food almost all the time in the 7 days 3. Beach - very dirty, nobody cleaning, stray dogs betweens the sunbeds sleeping, sunbeds full of sand and you have to clean yourself. 4. pool - to smalls for a big Hotel Thank you

I'm giving it one star because I can't give 0. It's a horrible place! Dirty, ugly ; staff can't speak English, food is poor. Rooms are disgusting, like from the 90s, but quite clean. The area is not, you can find dog poo and lots of cigarette buds around, especially on the beach. Tv is a post Stamp size, everything is very old.The sunbeads are being booked since the erly morning, feels like the hotel doesnt have the capacity for this many people. EDIT / After all I have to say that the animals were one the most pleasant thing on this vacation another one was quite decent animations, you could see that staff is dedicated to it.
