We stayed in the 3br on floor 8. It was updated, and really nice. I’d have to say the building is a bit dated, but our unit was great! We accidentally left my daughters lovie, and a pillow. And the gentleman at the front desk left notes on our car to check in with him before we left town (we had checked out and went to the aquarium before heading out), and he returned our items. I’d definitely stay here again.

Royal Harbour is above the night markets smack dab in the middle of the Cairns Esplanade. Totally secure facility, balcony view of ocean/Esplanade Staff are super friendly. Room is clean and modern. Has a kitchen, washing machine and totally self contained. The price is super cheap for this time of year (new years 2023) Food is easily accessible downstairs. It has limited free parking, and most of all it has great views

Building is very dated, paid for an apartment and the room has a byfold louvre door that is broken and noisy when you close it and lets light in. Room said it had a spa but the spa blowers are all blanked off. The ac in the room doesn’t go into the bedroom. The ac outdoor unit on the balcony blows hot air at the table. Only good thing is the location is great.

We absolutely loved staying at Royal Harbour apartments. This was so central to everything, glorious views and the staff were wonderful. The apartment was lovely, clean, and perfectly positioned to explore all the sight of Cairns - within walking distance to everything and right above the Night Market so loads of opportunity to shop. Will definitely be back :)
