The twin room we booked was a good size but the beds were not very wide, I'm presuming the two small beds attached together to make a double. I found that through the night one or both my legs were hanging out the bed. Tea and coffee selection was poor, only one teabag each. The bathroom was nice and the shower was lovely and warm. Front of house service was great. Friendly staff which made for an easy check in and out.

Look I paid 74 pounds for one night's stay and I think that was about right . The room was a decent size , the bed was comfortable and fresh and clean. The shower and bathroom were fine .I was on the 11th floor and it was during the week and slept well , not much noise. Staff were friendly .

Monika on reception was a breath of fresh air! Very warm, friendly, attentive & welcoming, instantly putting customers at ease! Nothing was too big or small and it would appear that she takes pride in her job, the hotel and looking after guests, even though she faces anti-polish sentiment, which horrifies and disgusts me, she still enjoys and excels in giving guests a first class service irrelevant of race, colour, gender etc etc ! Paid £160 for 2 nights, which for central Glasgow was very reasonable. Great location right next to Charing Cross underground and at the end of Bath Street where loads of cafes and bars and shops are. Check-in was quick and the lady on check-in was very cheerful and professional, couldn't have been any better. I was in room 1123, which meant the 11th floor, so it gave good views over the North West of the city. The room was clean and the bed was comfy (yes it was 2 singles linked together but this is quite common and it means you get a 6ft bed!). There was plenty of room although looking at the floor plan on the back of the door some of the rooms looked smaller. I didn't try the restaurant so no review of that. The hotel was looking a little tired, it looks like it's had new carpet and been repainted recently but all the fixtures are looking old such as the bath and TV! Overall for a cheap stay in Glasgow it's great, I'd stay here again.

Location to city centre ✓ Great Breakfast Service ✓ Nice Service Restaurant Staff ✓ Friendly Reception Staff ✓ Clean Very Large Room ✓ Excellent Views ✓ 10 minutes walk from the High Street ✓ Immaculately Clean and Maintained ✓ I was very worried after reading the reviews but found nothing wrong with this hotel. It was likely redesigned in the mid 00s as it used to be a Premiere Inn but it's been very well maintained and not shabby as described in some of the reviews. It was exceptionally clean and a very nice basic decor as expected. The outside has had a facelift and looks very upscale at night. Very surprised by the cheapest and certainly worst reviewed hotel in Glasgow.
