Staff was swift to accommodate and very helpful with any and all requests. Rooms were clean, very clean. All areas; lobby, bar, restaurant & rooms, felt newly renovated. Bathrooms are very modern, including under sink night-light and towel warmer. Room amenities include most everything you would expect: Kettle, coffee, tea, safe, hair dryer, iron & board, slippers. From an American perspective; there was no mini fridge. Would recommend staying here in the heart of Glasgow. Walking distance from many fine dining options, retail shops, entertainment venues as well ample public transportation. Including 500 bus to-from GLA airport.

Rooms are lovely, staying in executive suite which is stunning. Staff have been so polite and welcoming from the start. Jacks bar is great! Had some cocktails and food, both were top notch!! I have to give a shout out to all the staff but my server tonight "Ria" was so attentive and lovely all night and made me feel so comfortable. Its staff like Ria that make your stay special. Definitely a great place to stay and hopefully be back again soon.

Overall, happy with the stay. Good sized rooms with comfy bed and great shower. Breakfast was excellent and the location is good. However, the hotel is extremely dark and that made it feel gloomy.

Was really looking forward to my stay here with my partner over Christmas but unfortunately it didn't meet expectations. The staff in the bar were great and friendly but reception less so. First, we were given the wrong room even though, we had spoken with the reception team a month prior to confirm. When we went back to reception, we were informed the room that we had requested and confirmed was not available. Thankfully, this was quickly fixed by the reception manager. We weren't informed of any of the facilities, didn't receive turndown service that was apparently included and upon check out, we weren't asked if we enjoyed our stay. Only for the reception manager, and bar staff who were kind to us, I probably would have given less stars. I don't expect staff to fawn over customers but for the price paid, I do expect the basics. The Signature Suite was amazing, with a lovely bathroom, bed and mini bar. I work in hospitality and understand people can have off days but this seemed like they didn't even care. We are frequent visitors to Glasgow through work and visiting family but probably won't stay here again.
