Pleasantly surprised, the room size was excellent including bathroom & room facilities. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The location was fantastic, fabulous restaurants & cafes nearby. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you for having us. Will definitely recommend to others.

Difficult to locate as does not look like a hotel. A few minutes wak to the water taxi which is a plus. Rooms very quirky have tea and coffee and all the essentials. Breakfast you walk to a cafe 500m away. Breakfast not to my taste. No toilet to use after check out they did let us use one in a disused room as we had a long trip ahead of us by water and normal taxi. We will stay again though as now aware of these issues.

Stayed here with my husband and sister in-law for the second time. Arriving at the hotel to collect the keys to our own huge apartment. Yes it was a little difficult finding it the first time but it was still part of the fun. Plenty of continental snacks left each day with milk and bottled water yogurts etc. Cleaner came everyday and was lovely. Good location for a private transfer to and from the airport with confirmation being given to us the day before we left. Quiet location but near everything you could want. No, we are not related to the owners and yes we will book again as it feels like home when we are there. Thank you for our recent stay in Venice.

After a long walk to the hotel Ca Dell 'Arte we found a note on the door telling us we were staying in a sister hotel ('Palace') 1km away back where we had just walked from. I had already booked a restaurant near the original hotel so we had to trek across the city and back again in the evening. Why couldn't I have been informed of this change in advance? The room in the new hotel was nice but wasn't connected to the sitting room or bathroom and we had to enter codes to use each room. There was actually another room (rented out) inbetween our two rooms! All very bizarre and inconvenient. The only staff we saw the whole weekend was someone changing the linen as I dashed from the bedroom to the bathroom. We ended up spending 2 nights on the sofa bed so we had unhindered access to the bathroom. No breakfast, no reception or seating area, it certainly wasn't a palace. The location (once we had found it) was great, It overlooked a canal but the shutters where quite hard to open and meant the rooms were quite dark most of the time.

Excellent hotel. It is in a great location in San Marco. The decorations and furnishing really add to the overall Venetian atmosphere. I loved it. Breakfast included and plenty of extra snacks in your room. The price was very very good. And if you are travelling with kids the family room ‘Imperiale’ is great. The shower had great pressure and lots of room. in the bathroom. A short walk to a number of Vaparetto stops. I was very impressed. Highly recommend.
